Job Description:   The Master Data Analyst is responsible for implementing and supporting Flagstone Foods master data governance for material master data to ensure information is setup in systems correctly and in a timely manner. 

 Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Business including marketing, finance, operations, and sales with material master creation, testing, and maintenance. This also includes urgent requests from the business to resolve issues which include: material extensions, rework codes and bill of material updates.

  • Assume a lead role during new item creation and subsequent materials.  This includes data review, cleansing, and testing. 

  • Train and/or educate new users to the item setup process.

  • Develop necessary form and material creation templates and respective guidelines. Testing activities require interaction with and knowledge of: Product weights, new Customer label development, standard naming conventions, alternate units of measure, and various fields audited by the Item Master Group.

  • Utilize system tools and reports in maintaining material master records including material set up and ongoing maintenance.

  • Work closely with the Marketing, Finance, Operations, Sales, QA, Warehouse Team, and Supply Chain Planning throughout the item setup process. 

  • Take a lead role in data review and cleansing.

  • Create and maintain item setup training documents for new team members.  

  • Review and analyze material creation errors and ensures steps are taken to resolve them.

  • Take a lead role assisting the Business with day to day questions and “hot” issues.

  • Creates intra-company purchase orders.

  • Projects as assigned.

  • Excellent analysis and problem solving ability

  • Proficient in Microsoft Sharepoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Access or SQL query skills

  • Process flow or data mapping experience

Education:

Associate Degree: Business or related

Bachelor’s Degree Required – Type:  Business or related

Minimum Experience Preferred (Number of years and type):

 

Minimum of 1+ years’ work experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods or related industry.
